Leadership is a Choice

Leadership is not a title — it is a decision. It begins with ownership, is sustained by integrity, and grows through helping others rise. When you choose responsibility over permission, you step onto The Path of a Leader.

Getting stuff done is an attitude, a frame of reference, an intention. The Path of a Leader is a channeling tool to bring direction, reflection, application, and inspiration.

You are a leader. Leadership is a choice. Anyone can choose to lead regardless of title or position.

That’s The Path of a Leader. It doesn’t begin with permission. It begins with ownership.

As a leader, you dance with context and situations that show your humility and willingness to do what needs to be done.

For me to grow in leadership, I had to help them grow in performance and confidence. That was when I realized that leadership is never about you—it’s about helping others rise.

You see the great potential in others and inspire and encourage them, lifting them up with encouraging words.

Leaders have a vision of the future that is not yet and strive to make it a reality. That future could be 10 years, 10 months, 10 weeks, or even 10 days out. Leaders are constantly moving from a current state to a future state. Your vision matters.

Your adaptability and learners mindset are invaluable to others because you understand the value of being a self-starter and activating others to start.

Leaders are trustworthy and trust-instilling. There is integrity in what you say and what you do.

Accountability and responsibility are part of a leader's operating system. You create a culture that reflects the tone you set.
